Manchester hosts free gay Sunday Lunch

MANCHESTER Generation is hosting a Sunday Lunch get together for local gay, lesbian and bisexual people.

The free three-course lunch has been organised as a chance for Manchester’s gay communities to congregate and discuss the city, their own experiences and age stereotypes.

Adam Winter, from The Lesbian and Gay Foundation (LGF) explains: “We hope to have a fun and interesting day where lesbian, gay and bisexual people of all ages can come together to share perceptions and experiences of our city.

“We’ll be doing a few exercises to explore how LGB people experience Manchester and enjoying a fabulous three course home-cooked Sunday lunch along the way! The event is free and we really want older and younger people to be able to meet and learn from each other.”

The lunch will take place at LGF, a charity which offers a wide range of services to lesbian, gay and bisexual communities throughout the North West, from 1:30pm to 5pm on Sunday 21 March 2010.

If you would like to attend the lunch or for more information contact Adam Winter via or 0161 235 8023.

LGF is situated at Princess House, 105 – 107 Princess Street, Manchester, M1 6DD.
