Missing: Salford mother and kids

MISSING: Dawodu went missing along with her mother and brother in December 2009

GREATER Manchester Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a mother and her two children missing from their home in Salford.

Dorcas Timothy, 34, has not been seen at her flat on Crossfield Road, Barton Moss, since about 10 December 2009.

Her daughter Faith Dawodu, aged eight, has not been seen at school since 7 December 2009.

Timothy, is described as a black woman, 5ft 3in tall, of medium build, with curly hair and brown eyes.

Dawodu is described as a black girl, of slim build and average size for her age.

It is believed that Timothy also has a three-year-old son called Moses, who could be with his mother and sister.

Timothy is originally from South Africa and it is thought that she was living in Holland before her move to England.

Police Constable Julie Wallwork, from Greater Manchester Police’s Salford Division, said: “Our priority is to make sure that Dorcas and her children are safe.

“It is extremely unusual for Faith not to have been in school as her mum normally makes sure she present and punctual and it was this that caused people to alert us they had not been seen for some days.

“If you know where the family is or in fact if, Dorcas, you are reading this, please contact me.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police in Salford on 0161 856 5023.
