Bolton school girl Nazeeba missing

A teenage girl has been missing from her home in Bolton for more than four days.

Nazeeba Hussain, 14, was last seen at her family home on Loxham Street, Great Lever, at about 8:15pm on Monday 15 November 2010.

She is described as Asian, 5ft 2in tall with shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. When last seen school girl Hussain was wearing traditional Asian dress consisting of a black top, orange trousers, grey cardigan, red scarf and red shoes.

Greater Manchester Police are becoming concerned for her welfare due to her age and the fact Hussain has not been missing before. She has no access to money and no change of clothes.

Second victim of house fire dies

A SECOND person has died because of a housefire which occurred London Road, Blackburn, on Wednesday 21 October 2009.

Ayesha Mohammed, 39, passed away at 10am on Wednesday 28 October 2009 at Royal Blackburn Hospital.

Her husband, Abdullah Mohammed, who 24Dash call a Muslim cleric, died in the fire  last Wednesday.

Their daughter Siddiqah, 14, remains in a critical but stable condition at the University Hospital of Manchester.

Their youngest son Muhammad, nine, has been released from hospital and is now with his extended family.

A 39-year-old man from Lytham, St Annes, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder on Tuesday 27 October 2009 and is in custody at Greenbank.

Another man, aged 29, from Manchester was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder on Monday 26 October 2009 and he also remains in police custody.

Detectives  attended Blackburn Magistrates Court on Wednesday 28 October 2009 to apply for a warrant of further detention for the two men.

If successful officers will be granted an extra 36 hours to question the men, until midnight on Thursday 29 October.
