A FATHER has now been charged with the murder of his two young children by Greater Manchester Police .
YOLANDE AND THEO: 37-year-old Petros Williams has been charged with strangling his own children to death
Theo Molemohi, just two, and his sister Yolande, four, were found unconscious at a flat on Whalley Road, Whalley Range, just after 8am on Wednesday 14 October 2009.
Their dad, Petros Williams, 37, has now been charged with the murder.
The post mortem examinations revealed that both children had died of strangulation.
Williams is due to appear at Manchester City Magistrates’ Court on Monday 19 October 2009.
Earlier in th week, Morongoe Molemohi, the children’s mother who was estranged from Williams, paid tribute to Theo and Yolande saying: “I have raised a fairy princess and a well behaved young man.
“I will always remain proud to be their mother. Their lives were short but they lived it to their full potential.
“I thank them for the joy, happiness and fulfilment they brought to my life.
“They have been my strength and hope. I love them very much and they will always be a beautiful part of me.”
